On tripod, Canon 5DMk2, 20mm, F4, 2 min, ISO 1600, no filter, light painting technique, processed in Lightroom.
I really love people watching. This couple were riding my TriMet train into the Portland City center from the outer blue line near Cleveland, chatting about all sort of life events. Their interaction, was fascinating, and so I asked if they wouldn’t mind if I used them as a silhouette of people against the backdrop of the city as we crossed the Willamette River. Of course they obliged and actually tried to pose with serious faces for me. We all laughed awkwardly, after I took the shot. It was quote a funny moment.
