Walking through the city, I was photographing men drop beer kegs off a truck for a nearby pub, when I saw this man roll open the back door of his truck. I immediately spotted a shot as I knew his delivery was for the hotel. He’s already begun his move with the trolley full of linen, so I stood so I could catch him just as he emerged fro the truck. I had no idea of the timing or the composition would work at the time, but I knew something would work. It appears I was right.

Sometimes speed is of the essence. I always keep my camera on street walks set to auto ISO with a shutter priority speed of 1/200th sec. That way I don’t have to think. I can concentrate of seeing things, watching whats happening. Next time you walk your own city or suburb, do the same and see what fleeting moments you happen to capture, that you may not otherwise if you were fooling around with camera settings.
